A well-established manufacturing business in North Shields is recruiting Two Production Operatives to support a new long-term customer project. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing operation with training provided and opportunities to develop multi-skilled experience within manufacturing.
Working on a day shift only basis, youll be part of a collaborative team manufacturing timber packaging products including pallets, crates and cases.

Your responsibilities as Production Operative
* Manufacturing timber products to specifications and drawings
* Measuring, cutting and assembling timber components
* Operating machinery and production tools safely
* Carrying out quality checks to ensure standards are met
* Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
* Working towards daily production targets and deadlines
What were looking for in a Production Operative
* Previous manufacturing or production experience
* Timber or woodwork experience would be advantageous
* The ability to work within a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Confidence using hand tools or machinery
