About the Team
We are recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant for our Information Contact and Assessment Service. Occupational therapy is undergoing a programme of transformative change to meet the ambitious goals of our borough plan and support the integration of health and social care.

About the Role
The role of the Occupational Therapy Assistant will be to:
* Promote and maintain independence for vulnerable and disabled service users, focusing on the assessment for, and provision of, equipment and adaptations.
* Assess the functional needs of service users and their circumstances in line with relevant legislation and departmental policy.
* Assess and write recommendations for simple major adaptations such as level access showers and stairlifts.
