Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor for our public sector client based in Northampton on a 3‑month contract paying £28.68 per hour inside IR35. The role offers hybrid working with an expectation to be in the office three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing sickness, absence, grievance and disciplinary cases from start to finish.
* Providing clear pragmatic HR advice to managers and ensuring HR policies and processes are applied consistently across teams.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and case records and delivering effective HR administration and ensuring compliance with employment law.
* Supporting TUPE and organisational change activity and contributing to ongoing HR projects and improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience in managing sickness, absence, grievance and disciplinary cases.
* Pragmatic HR advice and strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
* Excellent documentation and case record keeping.
* Experience supporting TUPE and organisational change activity.
* Strong project and improvement orientation.
