KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an excellent client based in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the MD this is a standalone role that would suit someone who is used to a fast-moving, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities include: Prepare management accounts to trial balance Prepare schedules for external accountants Produce cash‑flow forecasts and monitor working capital Prepare VAT returns and maintain statutory records Prepare and process monthly payroll Process bank and credit card reconciliations Process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts and prepare payment runs Produce and distribute sales invoices Chasing aged debt and resolving invoice queries Manage holidays and sickness This role will suit someone with previous experience of working for an SME in a standalone role. Knowledge of Sage and Sage Payroll would be a benefit.
