Strategic Leadership & Supply Chain Management

* Define and execute the Group’s procurement and supply chain strategy across infrastructure, shipbuilding, and maritime domains.
* Lead all supply chain activities, including bid support, strategic sourcing, performance management, and tactical issue resolution.
* Oversee the full procurement lifecycle — from supplier qualification and tendering through contract negotiation, execution, and lifecycle management.
* Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and finance teams to ensure procurement supports technical and budgetary targets.
* Develop and maintain robust supply chain governance frameworks, including policies, risk registers, and compliance systems.

Contract & Supplier Management

* Negotiate and manage complex supply, fabrication, and service agreements, ensuring protection of ELIRE’s commercial interests.
* Lead supplier development programmes to strengthen performance, innovation, and sustainability in the supply base.
* Manage supplier risk identification, mitigation planning, and performance tracking across all project phases.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual disputes, delivery risks, or compliance challenges.

Project Delivery & Performance

* Ensure procurement and supply chain deliverables align with project milestones, budgets, and technical requirements.
* Manage Bills of Materials (BoMs), Supply Chain Management Plans, and Supplier Risk inputs to support bids and project execution.
* Monitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and quality targets; report into project contract reviews and executive packs.
* Develop strategies to optimise cost efficiency, lead times, and resource allocation across multi-project environments.
* Support the delivery of major maritime and infrastructure projects by ensuring all materials and subcontracted services are delivered on time and to specification.
Candidate Profile & Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

* 10+ years’ experience in ship building, maritime procurement, supply chain, or contract management within maritime, shipbuilding, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
* Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and contract negotiation in complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project-based procurement, bid processes, and contractual frameworks.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across all organisational levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a detail-oriented, outcome-driven mindset.
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

* Global maritime and shipbuilding experience working within clean energy, transport, or maritime infrastructure environments.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build new supplier networks and optimise existing relationships.
* Collaborative, proactive, and able to operate effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
