As a Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator with their Practice, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care and Communication:
* Welcome and greet patients, answering any initial private treatment inquiries.
* Act as the primary point of contact for private patients, guiding them through their treatment journey.
* Effectively communicate treatment options, procedures, and associated costs to patients.
* Schedule and coordinate appointments.
Treatment Coordination:
* Collaborate with orthodontist and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
* Present treatment plans to patients, explaining the procedures, expected outcomes, and financial obligations.
* Coordinate referrals to specialists, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of care.
* Follow up with patients to ensure treatment compliance and schedule necessary appointments.
Administrative Support:
* Maintain accurate and up:to:date patient records, including treatment plans and financial information.
* Manage patient billing, process payments, and discuss financial arrangements as needed.
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
* Collaborate with the dental team to optimize office workflow and patient scheduling.
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience as a dental/orthodontic treatment coordinator or in a dental nursing role is preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
* Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of dental/orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and dental terminology.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast:paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Compassionate and patient:centred approach to patient
