AI Architect – Generative AI & LLM Systems

We're partnered with an innovative technology leader known for building high-impact, production-grade AI systems. This AI Architect role is for someone who builds applied GenAI systems that ship and make a real difference.
You'll work directly with clients across sectors to design and deliver production-ready LLM-powered solutions, from rapid proof-of-concept through to scalable, secure deployment.
This is not a pure data science role.
The Role
As an AI Architect, you'll take ownership of designing and delivering client-facing GenAI systems.
You'll operate across:
Architecting RAG-based solutions using modern LLM frameworks
Designing scalable LLM applications with secure data integration
Leading discovery sessions and shaping technical direction with clients
Translating ambiguous business problems into AI-powered systems
Building production-ready pipelines, not just notebooks
Collaborating with engineers, designers and product teams to ship working systems
The work is varied, consultative, and hands-on. You'll be expected to prototype, architect, and guide delivery, not just advise from the sidelines.
What You'll Bring
Commercial experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications
Experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks
Strong Python fundamentals and production system design experience
Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure or GCP) and modern containerised environments
Experience operating in consultancy, studio, or innovation-led environments
The ability to engage clients confidently and shape technical direction
You care about applied impact, not just model accuracy.
You're comfortable navigating ambiguity and building solutions that work in the real world.
