Unqualified Teaching Assistant - SEND / 1:1 Support (Primary School)

Pay: £106 per day
Spencer Clarke Group are working with supportive and inclusive primary schools in Skelmersdale who are seeking caring and committed Unqualified Teaching Assistants to provide SEND and 1:1 support across the school.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking to gain hands-on experience within a primary school environment.
Whether you've supported children in a care setting, worked with young people in the community, or gained experience through personal or voluntary roles, you could be exactly who we're looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND.
Support pupils with learning, behaviour, communication and emotional regulation.
Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive classroom activities.
Help adapt learning materials to meet individual pupil needs.
Promote a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.
Requirements:
Experience supporting children or young people in any setting.
A patient, calm and empathetic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine interest in SEND and inclusive education.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
