Location: SloughSeptember 2026Salary: MPS1–UPS3
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving and ambitious secondary school in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a high-achieving English department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of learning and behaviour.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
- Commitment to raising achievement and supporting student progress.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
