POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Sales Associate supports Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. We love what we do and believe our team is the best place to work, learn, and grow!
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive for Results
* Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in merchandise selection based on their needs.
* Keep informed about current sales, promotions, and maintain pricing and visual standards.
* Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
* Participate in visual directives including store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience
* Model and promote MAPS principles, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
* Resolve customer concerns promptly.
* Ensure efficient register operations, including payments, returns, and security.
* Encourage buying decisions at checkout and achieve add-on sales, including gift cards.
* Sign up clients for reward programs.
* Build customer loyalty through clienteling and wardrobing.
* Stay informed about current product fit and style in-store and online.
* Maintain consistent communication with customers.
Operational Excellence
* Support replenishment activities to keep the store full.
* Assist with order fulfillment and visual displays.
* Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth
* Promote inclusiveness and collaboration.
* Seek personal development and feedback.
* Perform other duties as assigned, varying by brand.
Qualifications:
* Retail or sales experience preferred.
* Must be 16 or older.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Adaptable to company technology.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
* Effective communication with customers, team, and management.
* Regular attendance and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
Physical Requirements:
* Constant walking/standing (67-100%).
* Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%).
* Frequent climbing (34-66%).
