Job Description
We are recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours) Health and Fitness Co-ordinator to join our team of 3,000 dedicated staff and volunteers.
The Health and Fitness Co-ordinator plays a strategic role in developing and promoting health, well-being, and fitness. As part of the citywide health and fitness team and the local facility management team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, creating strategies for health and fitness retention, and managing, developing, and mentoring your gym instructor team and fitness class programs.

Your key responsibilities include ensuring high staff performance standards, achieving income targets, growing member retention, and managing the safe and effective operation of a fitness suite. You will also contribute to the development of health and fitness initiatives across the organization.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
1. Health and Fitness SVQ Level 2 Qualification
2. Managerial experience in team leadership and development
3. Experience in developing and managing group fitness programs
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills within the Health & Fitness industry
5. Project management and event organization experience
6. The ability to work across various locations in the city
7. Flexibility to work on a shift pattern, including weekends and evenings
8. Proficiency in IT and experience with software systems
