Senior Associate - Strategic Land Development
Home Based with occasional travel to the office (Warwickshire)

My client, a leading regional legal practice, is looking to recruit a Senior Associate (ideally 5-10 years PQE) to join their growing Development team, focusing on Strategic Land Development. The firm generates significant opportunities from regional and national landowners/property developers. To enable growth, they seek an experienced solicitor with a strong background in Strategic Land Development (Option and/or Promotion agreements) and an established reputation in this field, preferably with connections to agencies.
This is a great opportunity to develop a practice/business in Strategic Land Development across the UK.
Job responsibilities:
* Managing own caseload and meeting deadlines;
* Assisting Partners on complex and high-value matters;
* Maintaining good client relationships through effective management and service delivery;
* Properly scoping and pricing new instructions with good financial oversight;
* Providing accurate, up-to-date legal advice tailored to client circumstances, ensuring value for money;
* Contributing to the team’s business plan and delivering assigned activities;
* Building relationships with peers across the firm;
* Supporting business development and marketing activities, including attending conferences;
* Managing direct reports as the team expands.
Person Specification:
* Proven technical experience in Strategic Land Development;
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team;
* Collaborative with colleagues across the firm;
* Client-focused, delivering valued, timely, and cost-effective services;
* Effective communicator at all levels;
* Strong commercial acumen with aspirations to grow and succeed within the firm.
