Overview
Manage your own caseload of schools to provide high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues. Provide therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to enable them to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon.
To be responsible for assessments, goal setting and recommendations for therapeutic support for your own caseload. To develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people in education. To develop and contribute to the delivery of therapeutic and psychological training to all staff in the organisation as part of the Therapeutic Academy. Responsibilities
* Manage caseload of schools providing high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues.
* Provide therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon.
* Assess, set goals and recommend therapeutic support for your caseload.
* Develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people in education.
* Contribute to the delivery of therapeutic and psychological training to all staff as part of the Therapeutic Academy.
* Participate in regular supervision and CPD activities.
* Participate in service development activities across the Horizon Group.
Qualifications
* BSc registered Speech and Language Therapist.
* Experience of working with Children and Young People or relevant demonstrable transferable skills.
* Desire to support services through embedding therapeutic practice.
* Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision.
* Well-developed communication skills, orally and in writing.
* Ability to work autonomously with support from individual and peer supervision.
* Ability to role model behaviours and attitudes in line with organisational values.
* Sound understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
* Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle.
