We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinical Lead to join the Regional Senior team. This is a new dedicated IRC role covering sites across the country, including Gatwick IRC, Heathrow IRC, and Derwentside IRC.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, balancing efficiency and quality.
Hours:
This role is part-time, working 3 days a week (22.5 hours), with shift patterns to be discussed.
Salary:
This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
* Lead and work as part of the Mental Health team within the Integrated Healthcare Services
* Provide clinical leadership and management to registered nurses and allied health professionals
* Establish inter-agency working to ensure good communication and quality care
* Ensure clinical practice aligns with autonomous practice standards
* Provide nursing triage, screening, and assessments based on Wellbeing Approach and Practice Plus policies
* Develop local operating procedures and pathways for clinicians
* Address complaints and concerns related to mental health promptly
* Lead mental health treatment or care, manage waiting lists, and support medicines management
* Make referrals to other health professionals/services as needed
* Set standards for care through protocols and health education activities
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, planning, and treatments

Qualifications required
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (Nursing & Midwifery Council registered)
* BSc or equivalent qualification
* Experience in supervision, teaching, or mentoring
* Ongoing professional development to maintain competence
Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is desirable but not essential.
