Description About the Role: An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our HR / People Team on a 6 month fixed term contract. The Role will be reporting directly to the Site HR / People Advisor based in Stafford (ST16 1GY) supporting our shared service team. This is mainly a site based role and working hours are predominantly 8am - 4pm (with flexibility required). How will you contribute? • Creating letters and case packs. • Administering HR related documentation, such as invite letters, maternity/paternity letters etc. • Ensuring the HR filing systems are maintained. • Keeping up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices. • Scheduling meetings. • Answering queries. • Maintaining and updating trackers. • General HR advice supporting our Management Teams. • Producing Weekly and monthly reports. • Supporting the Managers and People Team with ER issues particular with low level complexity absence, disciplinary and grievance issues including advice, minute taking, supporting meeting and writing relevant correspondence. • Support HR manager /HR Advisor with employee training needs. • New Starters /Leavers Process- Complete on-boarding process of new employees, including induction process. What will you bring? • Ideally, you’ll be currently working in a HR environment with some experience, or it may be that you’ve just completed or working towards your CIPD and you’re looking for the first step into the HR world. • You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders. • You’ll be proactive and have a solution driven approach. • HR related qualifications (desirable not essential). • A desire to learn and develop within HR. • Organised nature with the ability to prioritise. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to communicate with a wide range of people. • Good IT skills to include Microsoft Excel. • Good problem-solving skills. • Experience keeping and maintaining employee records/files. • Up to date Employment Law knowledge.
