Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced HSE Officer to support and strengthen Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across their operations.

The Role
As HSE Officer, you’ll work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to ensure the business maintains high standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.
You’ll be a visible and proactive presence on site, helping to promote best practice, ensure compliance, and support the development of a strong safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and company policies
* Supporting the implementation and ongoing development of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
* Working closely with Site Management and Operations teams to achieve site action plans and objectives
* Monitoring, analysing, and reporting HSE KPIs against targets
* Advising management teams on corrective actions and continuous improvement opportunities
* Conducting and supporting health and safety meetings, audits, and inspections
* Supporting compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements
* Encouraging positive behavioural and cultural change across the site
* Assisting with investigations, risk assessments, and HSE documentation where required
What We’re Looking For
* Previous HSE experience within a manufacturing environment
* Experience supporting or driving positive cultural and behavioural change
* Strong organisational, administration, and time management skills
* Good problem-solving and internal auditing abilities
* Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage at all levels
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Proactive, approachable, and solutions-focused mindset
