Lead Theatres Services Staffing Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Lead Theatres Staffing Coordinator at Somerset Foundation Trust.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the Electronic Rostering System across theatre services ensuring its effective deployment of staff and timely, accurate production of rosters. You will work closely with theatre managers to coordinate staffing efficiently. The role supports safe staffing, manages unplanned absence and maintains accurate system data. Day‑to‑day work will be self‑managed and conducted within the framework of Trust policies and protocols.
You will communicate future rosters and any changes to all relevant parties, identify opportunities for system improvements, ensure cover is provided during sickness and absence by appropriately deploying staff, and will monitor staff sickness absence in line with Trust Policy, providing administrative support to the theatre services team for sickness absence management.
