Mental Health Social Worker / AMHP – Integrated Mental Health Service
The London Borough of Hackney is seeking experienced and qualified Social Workers (PO2-PO3) and Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs, PO4) to join our Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS). This role offers a manageable caseload, autonomy, and a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake Care Act assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and reviews.
* Connect meaningfully with residents and carers using professional curiosity and sound judgement.
* Collaborate with health colleagues and partners to provide timely, person-centred care.
* Embed trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, and anti‑racist practice to help residents achieve outcomes that matter to them.
About You – Essential Criteria
* Social Work England recognised qualification and current registration.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible, reflective approach to practice.
