Salary/Rate: To £50,750 in year 1 and to £53,000 in year 2 + bonus
Things haven’t quite gone to plan, have they?
You love being a financial planner, but you’re at a stage of your career where you need support, access to clients, and direction.
In short, you need a business to invest in you and provide the structure and resources for your development. One that pays a salary and puts clients in front of you—not expecting you to find them yourself.
This firm will do all of that.
This national business acquires clients from retiring advisers. Those clients need an adviser, and that adviser will be you.
You’ll join an existing team of over 40 to ensure ongoing excellent service to existing clients. You’ll build trust and develop new business along the way. You’ll have access to top technology and support from a dedicated customer care team. Your time will be spent with clients, not admin.
Long-term, you’ll have the option to move into a self-employed role with a firm offering some of the best splits in the industry. Three team members have already made this transition. But that choice is yours.
In the meantime, you'll receive a proper income. In year one, you’ll earn between £48,750 and £50,750, excluding sales bonuses. By year two, this will increase to up to £53,000 per year, also excluding sales bonuses.
This remuneration package includes:
* A starting salary of £36,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
* A KPI/compliance bonus (focused on client care, retention, and file quality, not sales) adding £12,750 in year one and increasing to £15,000 from year two onwards
Once established, there’s also a sales bonus based on new client investments, providing additional income.
Regarding onboarding and training, you’ll benefit from a structured environment that has successfully trained over 30 advisers with no prior financial planning experience. They’ll be valuable resources for your development.
After induction, you can work on a hybrid basis or remotely, with office visits once or twice a month.
If you apply, you’ll join a profitable, growing business with a strong track record of staff development and a positive work environment. Plus, a clear career pathway.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Approximately 2 years post-CAS experience as a financial adviser/planner with suitable Level 4 qualifications.
Depending on your location, you’ll work hybrid or remotely with travel to Newcastle once or twice a month. Ideal locations are in the North or Midlands.
