This is what you'll actually do
You'll lead and inspire a small team of engineers and technical operatives, creating a culture that puts safety, reliability and performance first. Day to day, you'll make sure maintenance activity is prioritised and delivered effectively — reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability and keeping operations running smoothly.
You'll take ownership of analysing top operational losses, using Root Cause Analysis and A3 problem-solving to identify practical, sustainable solutions. From there, you'll implement reliability improvement initiatives that make a measurable difference on site.
A key part of your role will be supporting the deployment of TPM and Autonomous Maintenance, helping to embed standards and develop capability within the team. You'll coach and grow your people — building skills, engagement and accountability so they can perform at their best.
You'll also support the standardisation and continuous improvement of engineering processes, contribute to capital and automation projects locally, and collaborate with wider FFG Engineering colleagues to share best practice.
When required, you'll step in to deputise for the Site Engineering Lead — providing confident, capable leadership and continuity across the function.
