As Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of assigned projects under the guidance of the Turbo Services Manager. You'll ensure that all deliverables are met on time, within budget, and exceed customer expectations. You'll also provide line management for our Technical Field Authorities, supporting their development, performance, and engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manage all aspects of project execution including hardware, documentation, financials, dispute resolution, and customer satisfaction.
* Evaluate customer needs and ensure alignment with service capabilities, pricing models, and profitability targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to reduce risk, resolve issues, and identify growth opportunities.
* Provide line management for Technical Field Authorities, fostering a culture of performance, development, and engagement.
* Lead project launches, kick-off meetings, and handovers with clear documentation and accountability.
* Monitor project budgets, invoicing, and profitability, ensuring timely close-out and full documentation.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A recognised qualification in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related industry (steam turbine experience preferred).
* Proven track record in managing complex engineering or industrial service projects.
* Strong commercial acumen and experience in contract negotiation.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills-both customer and supplier-facing.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (or similar ERP systems).
* Ability to work independently with strong organisational and time management skills.
* High attention to detail, with a customer-focused mindset.
* Flexibility and cultural awareness to thrive in a global organisation.
