We are a well-established independent automotive business based in Teignmouth. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while providing excellent customer service to our loyal client base.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our friendly and professional team.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles are repaired efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on customer vehicles.
- Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Complete mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Deliver high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Automotive Technician.
- Relevant automotive qualifications (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- MOT Tester licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
