Package Description

Job Role: Senior Support Worker

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £13.60 - £14.20 per hour / £27,580 - £28,797

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time with Day/Nights and sleep-ins

Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day support and management of the service, with responsibilities including:


* Leading and managing a team of Support Workers to deliver exceptional care and support.
* Ensuring the highest standards of care, aligned with individual care and support plans.
* Promoting positive community relationships through the organization and encouragement of a variety of engaging activities.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with care plans and relevant documentation.
* Collaborating with health professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic support for service users.
* Conducting regular supervisions, audits, and performance reviews to support staff development.
* Overseeing the duties of reporting staff, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards, while fostering a positive, efficient, and homely atmosphere within the home.
