Job Description

3. Support the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of accrals, prepayments, and journals
4. Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items
5. Assist with intercompany accounting processes
6. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in line with internal controls
7. Support the preparation of balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation
8. Analyse monthly financial data and identify variances or anomalies
9. Contribute to process improvements, including efficiency and automation initiatives

The Successful Applicant

10. Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent) or actively studying
11. Experience in a month-end focused accounting role
12. Understanding of financial controls and working within a structured environment
13. Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
14. Experience with ERP systems is desirable
15. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
16. Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
17. Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
18. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
