Technical Surveyor
Location: Endurance House, Histon, Cambridge, CB24 9ZR
Salary: £46,479.87 p.a FTE
Permanent full-time position – 35 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CHS as a Technical Surveyor, supporting our Compliance Team.
What you’ll do
In this varied and interesting role, you’ll provide technical support to our Compliance Team, working in our Property Services Department.
Using your technical knowledge, you’ll also help to deliver and monitor our compliance programmes (identified as the ‘Big 6’ - fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, water and lifts), and the relevant technical contracts (Including supervision of contractors).
As well as support, you’ll also deliver technical guidance, manage projects, conduct property inspections, define risk and scope of works and provide technical reports as required.
You’ll assist in providing an effective and prompt compliance service for CHS and our customers, taking accountability for building safety, access concerns, customer outcomes and value-for-money at all times.
About you
* Experience within a M&E, or compliance related environment.
* Proven ability to conduct property surveys.
* Experience of providing technical support or contributing to a compliance programme and contract/procurement decisions.
* A proven track record of providing building safety service within a customer-focused environment.
* Experience of project management or similar.
* Experience of delivering customer-focused services within set targets.
