About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant you'll work closely with inspiring pupils, all of whom have a diagnosis of autism and may have additional needs. Every child has incredible potential, and you'll play a key role in helping them unlock it through tailored, engaging learning experiences.
You'll help prepare learning materials, support classroom activities, and provide hands-on guidance under the direction of experienced teachers. Beyond the classroom, you'll support pupils' emotional and physical wellbeing, helping them build confidence, independence, and resilience.

Essential Requirements
Experience working with children.
Previous experience working with children with autism is highly desirable.
GCSE Grade C / 4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).

About Us
Career Teachers is supporting a school with one of our Early Years and Primary sites, providing specialist education for children aged 3.5 - 11 years old. Our school support pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. We use a wide range of teaching strategies to engage learners with diverse learning difficulties and styles. Pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and work towards the Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and equivalent functional skills qualifications.
