This is a role for a hungry and sophisticated seller who understands that opening a door with an L&D Director requires research, intelligence, and a consultative approach - not just a script.
The Role
You will be the architect of the sales pipeline, working defined verticals (Public Sector, NHS, Commercial L&D) to identify decision-makers and book qualified meetings for Sales Executives.
* Smart Prospecting: You won't be spamming. You will use HubSpot, LinkedIn, and creative multi-channel outreach to engage high-value prospects.
* Consultative Qualification: You will use frameworks like BANT to ensure meetings are genuine opportunities. You need to be able to hold your own in a conversation with senior stakeholders.
* Social Selling: You will build your own personal brand, sharing content and insights to attract inbound interest.
* The Launchpad: This isn't a dead-end job. There is a clear, 12-month pathway to become a closing Sales Executive.
Requirements
This Job Is For You If...
* You have the "COTS" Factor: That's "Commercial Off-The-Shelf" experience. You have 1+ years of B2B Sales/SDR experience (ideally SaaS/Tech) and can hit the ground running. You know how to manage a CRM and build a pipeline without having your hand held.
* You are a Chameleon: You have the social intelligence to switch between pitching to a Local Authority HR Director one minute and a Tech Founder the next.
* You are "Intellectually Curious": You don't just sell features; you want to understand the science of learning and why it matters to the client.
* You are Resilient: You don't take "no" personally. You view rejection as data to refine your approach.
* You are Commutable: You are based in South Wales (Swansea/Cardiff/M4 corridor) and are happy to be in the office 3 days a week to collaborate with the team.
