Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Hybrid - Manchester city centre
Salary: Up to £41,000
Contract: 12 Month FTC, Hybrid Working

We are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking engineering company seeking an Employee Relations Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The Employee Relations Specialist will provide advice and guidance, supporting managers with people management casework, and offering absence support and guidance through a centralized advisory service structured in tiers.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for all managers regarding people policy issues.
* Coach and influence managers in people management, developing their skills, and constructively challenging inappropriate behaviors/actions.
* Support managers in improving attendance, ensuring that both long and short-term sickness levels remain within company targets by utilizing available systems and management information.
Requirements
* Solid experience in Employee Relations with the ability to build strong working relationships across all management levels.
* Extensive Employee Relations experience within a complex, unionized environment and large matrix organizations.
* Strong understanding of employment law.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it.
