The Torridon is a family‑owned, five‑star boutique resort set amidst 58 acres of magnificent parkland on the shores of Loch Torridon in the Scottish Highlands. Surrounded by rugged mountains, dramatic scenery, and shimmering lochs, it offers one of Scotland’s most spectacular and secluded escapes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guests & Quality
1. Prepare the housekeeping of all resort public areas to Forbes 5* standard
2. Prepare housekeeping of resort bedrooms to a Forbes 5 * standard
3. Assist with washing and ironing of guest laundry to Forbes standard
4. Communicate with guests during their stay so their expectations are exceeded.
5. Supervise and Assist with Turndown service to a +1 standard
6. Report any faults, breakages, or sub-standard quality in rooms to head housekeeper.
7. Assist with guest housekeeping requests – Offering GSOI. Genuine sense of Interest,
Team
8. Support team members on shift with you so they are working in a positive and productive friendly environment.
9. Assist with the cleaning of team bedrooms for new arrivals and team areas
10. Assist with the washing of team uniforms
Productivity
11. Re-stock and replenish equipment and supplies in the cupboards.
12. Request stock items to ensure the shift is efficient without running out of specific items.
13. Report faulty machinery and equipment.
14. Ensure that room cleaning timed schedules for preparing arrival and stay-over rooms are meet deadlines.
15. Follow SOPs and make suggestions as required if efficiency and effectiveness can be improved.
Health & Safety
16. Ensure complete compliance of self with Health & Safety regulations.
17. Report any failures of health & safety immediately following see it sort it fix it policy.
Sustainability & Environment
18. Proactively assist with sustainability in your department in reducing energy consumption, and wastage.
19. Recycle all waste appropriately.
