Photographer – Part Time Permanent – Leading Studio - Framlingham (Suffolk)

Needs to be based in Suffolk with own transport. Unfortunutely applications from outside this area cannot be considered.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Photographer to join our team at East Anglia's leading portrait photography studio.

Located within the popular market town of Framlingham, Mark Palmer Photography is a family run business specialising in high end family portraits, with an impressive and envious reputation forged over the last 45 years.

What would your role entail:

A few key pieces of information:

* Portrait Studio Photographer
* Part Time, Permanent (With the opportunity to potentially progress to full time at a later date).
* 3 days per week – Tuesday to Sunday
* 9:30am – 5:30pm
* Daily Rate depending on Experience

Your role as photographer requires versatility and a down to earth yet professional approach, able to ensure each and every customers' experience is both unique and personal; with every step of the journey delivered to the highest of standards.

If successful, you will become part of an established and talented team of 6, being 1 of 3 photographers within the business.

You will have creative freedom over your shoots, tasked with tailoring each session around the customers personality and requirements; ensuring they are fun, memorable and professional. Your responsibility will continue into the editing suite, where your skills will be put to the test in delivering the final product for viewings.

The perfect person for us:

Like any role, there are many desirable attributes we are in search of in someone, with a few essential, MUST HAVE's, including:

· Previous experience in studio portrait photography (minimum 2 years) (portfolio of work required)

· Qualification in Photography (Degree or Diploma)

· Excellent technical understanding & ability (Lightroom, Photoshop, Studio Lighting)

· Confident, enthusiastic & eager to learn and develop

· Excellent interpersonal skills – well presented, polite, professional & engaging

We are looking to appoint a passionate, engaging and creative photographer to join our established team on a full time and permanent basis.

Previous experience is essential; however, you will receive additional and ongoing training from one of the top independent portrait photographers in the UK from day 1.

Excellent interpersonal and technical skills are required in equal measure, as sessions can vary from entire family generation shoots to a 'one man and his dog' shoot.
