Main duties of the job
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsiblefor the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering anexcellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMCstandards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective managementof the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborativeworking relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Bedlingtonshire Medical Group is a dynamic andfriendly practice located in beautiful Northumberland. We have a dedicatedclinical team of seven GPs, a nursing team of seven and five HealthcareAssistants. The clinical team are fully supported by a management teamalongside reception and administration teams. We are a teaching and trainingpractice educating medical students and the next generation of GPs and arecommitted to ongoing training and development of all our staff, througheducation and learning meetings and external events.
We are an active member of the Wansbeck PCN, whichis made up of 3 other local surgeries. Our growing PCN shares the use of socialprescribers, health coaches, first contact musculoskeletal practitioners,dieticians, pharmacists and mental health practitioners.
