AG Family Support is expanding, and we're looking for dedicated part time family support workers across Norfolk to join our dynamic team. These are zero-hour, employed bank contracts so offer maximum flexibility. Although no minimum hours are guaranteed each week we need candidates who have good availability and who can be flexible, as we are often working closely with families and Local Authorities when they are undertaking safeguarding assessments. You will also be trained as child contact supervisor
Our work is in the community or family homes so the location of support varies, candidates should be willing to travel up to one hour, when needed. However most our work, other than contact supervision, is short term so locations can vary monthly. Travel time and mileage is payable for all work undertaken.

About The Role:
You'll play a vital role in supporting children and families through outreach, child contact supervision, and intensive family support. You'll work both in the community and in family homes, making a tangible difference in their lives.
Key responsibilities include:
· Safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and families
· Monitoring child welfare and delivering parenting support
· Working with social workers and professionals to assess and support family needs
· Writing high-quality reports and shift logs and maintaining accurate records
· Engaging in both formal and informal supervision and ongoing professional development
· Transporting children to and from family contact sessions, when necessary.
. Supervising child contact sessions between a parent or relative and child/ren not living with them.
What You'll Bring:
We're seeking enthusiastic and flexible professionals who have experience working with children and families. Essential skills and attributes include:
· Strong Communication Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, with excellent report writing skills. Owing a computer for report writing.
· Child & Family Experience: Prior experience or qualifications in social care, health, or education is essential.
. Resilience: You will be working with parents, babies and children often at challenging times in their lives.
· Passion and Dedication: A desire to support vulnerable families and create positive outcomes.
· Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a supportive team.
· Driving License: Car owner essential
What We Offer:
· Employment Flexibility: Days and length of shifts needing cover can vary weekly as this depends on the support needed. We do also periodically have 12 hr shifts available for those wanting more hours. You can choose which shifts to accept
· Excellent Pay: Earn £13-£15 per hour based on day of the week worked (plus additional travel time pay and mileage).
· Training: Begin with comprehensive induction training including Family Support, Child Contact Supervision, Report Writing and Safeguarding, followed by access to additional topics.

· All employees must have an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for and pay for one if successful.
