Assistant Director – Building, Compliance and People Safety
Location: Birmingham City Council, Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
Type: Permanent | 36.5 hours per week | Annual Salary: £87,724 - £130,531 (subject to Pay Equity Review)

Key Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of high‑quality asset management services, ensuring whole‑building safety and compliance.
* Shape and implement service business plans and improvement strategies.
* Maintain oversight of safety certification and compliance data to drive continuous improvement.
* Manage a budget of circa £25 million per annum, ensuring value for money and effective delivery.
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver innovative housing solutions.
* Champion resident engagement and ensure services reflect community needs.
* Lead procurement strategies and ensure robust contract management.
* Drive transformation through data‑led service design and technology adoption.
