Key Responsibilities:
- A Youth Worker provides both classroom and one-on-one support to help students stay focused and engaged.
- As a Youth Worker you will adapt learning materials and activities to meet the unique needs of students, including those with SEN such as autism or ADHD.
- A Youth Worker collaborates with the class teacher to tailor learning strategies.
- As a Youth Worker you will offer emotional support, boosting confidence and encouraging self-esteem.
- Youth Workers track and monitor progress, working closely with the school's SENCO to develop and review individualised support plans.
What We're Looking For in a Youth Worker:
- Experience working with vulnerable students in Alternative provisions is necessary
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to children's needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
