Retail Store Assistant
£12.21 per hour plus benefits
Reports to: Shop manager
Department: Trading
Location: Belfast Superstore, Northern Ireland
Contract: Permanent
Working hours: Part time, 6 hours per week (any day of the week depending on store needs)

Role overview: We’re seeking a motivated store assistant to join our trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, engaging with the community and representing our brand and initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
* Working as part of the shop team to meet sales and fundraising targets.
* Maintaining shop standards, visual presentation, safeguarding, and health and safety compliance.
* Building relationships within the community and with colleagues.
* Supporting fundraising events to meet targets.
* Taking keyholder responsibilities (training provided).
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
Candidate requirements:
* Understanding of great customer service.
* Experience in busy customer service environments.
* Ability to manage workload independently.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, balancing work and personal life.
