Senior Care Assistant – Residential Care Home Weston-super-MareNurse Seekers are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential care home in Weston-super-Mare for an experienced and committed Senior Care Assistant.This role offers an excellent opportunity for a senior care professional to take on added responsibility within a supportive team, helping to deliver high standards of care to elderly residents.Hours:· Average 24 hours per week on a weekly rota· Alternate weekend working required· Shift patterns: 08:00–14:00 and 14:00–20:00· On-call responsibilities shared between the senior teamPay Rate:· £14.25 per hourKey Responsibilities:· Supporting the day-to-day running of the home alongside management· Leading shifts and supervising care staff· Administering medication in line with training and policies· Ensuring high standards of person-centred care at all times· Acting as a senior point of contact for staff, residents, and families· Maintaining accurate care documentation and contributing to care planningRequirements:· Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader· Medication trained· Experience within elderly residential care· QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or working towards this qualification· Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills· A compassionate and professional approach to careThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant seeking a flexible role within a high-quality residential care environment.To apply, please submit your CV or contact Jack on 01926 676369 for further information.
