Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
* Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
* Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
* Providing support to patients, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy
* Maintaining accurate patient records using IT systems and ensuring confidentiality at all times
* Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise clinic workflow
* Supporting the team with administrative tasks as required, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
* Upholding health and safety standards within the practice to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients
Experience
* No prior experience necessary; full training will be provided
* Good command of English, both written and spoken
* Basic IT skills, including familiarity with computer systems and software used in dental practices
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* A genuine interest in patient care, nursing, and developing a career in dental healthcare
