RES Health Lecturer

Part time, 25 hours per week

Temporary until June 2026

£18.87 - £19.80 per hour, plus holiday pay (dependant on Teaching Qualification)

North Notts College, Worksop

Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group. The RNN Group consists of Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts colleges.

The Role

Due to the increased demand and growing popularity of Health & Social Care courses, we are looking for a tutor to cover curriculum delivery alongside enrichment for all learners across campus. This will be essential to support ongoing development, planning, and external networking, helping us to continue raising the profile of the department.

You will deliver Health & Social Care courses at a variety of levels, working with students to ensure they achieve their best potential.

In this role you can influence and contribute towards the College's provision in this key area. You will have the opportunity not only to impart your knowledge and expertise to college students, but ultimately will make an impact on the wider community.

You will play a key role in delivering outstanding quality teaching, learning and assessment which will support students to achieve their best no matter what their challenges are to do so, and present yourself as a positive role model to students.

Have you got what it takes to be successful?

hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one

hold an appropriate level professional qualification in relevant subject specialism

have experience of teaching Health & Social Care

be well organised and able to manage your own workload, including administrative functions
