Vocational Trainer / Assessor - Engineering
Weston College is an inspiring place to work, delivering courses from entry level to Masters degrees. We are seeking a Vocational Trainer Assessor - Engineering to join our team on a part-time basis, working 1 day per week (7.5 hours).
The successful candidate will mainly be delivering training and assessing for our Port Operative Apprentices with the Bristol Port Company. Travel to our South West Skills Campus in Weston-super-Mare may be required.
A temporary Recruitment and Retention Premia of approx. £600 per annum is attached to this post. Further information is available on request.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and internal moderation across work-based learning courses.
* Promoting engagement in personal development opportunities.
* Producing bespoke apprenticeship Career Development Plans.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Relevant occupational experience and knowledge of the industry/sector.
* Knowledge of work-based learning and apprenticeship provision.
* Assessors Qualification (or willingness to gain within the first year of service).
