We are looking for a CNC Milling Machinist to fully machine complex components and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Fully machine parts as required using 3-axis and 5-axis VMC’s.
* Ensure quality of parts is to a high standard.
* Load offline programs and liaise with production engineer to optimise set up.
* Save all programs and set up sheets after every job.
* Assist Shift leaders and engineers with any tooling or material requirements.
* Safe operations of machines, tools and equipment.
* Ensure workshop standards are maintained and machines are kept clean at all times.
Who Are We Looking For?
* Previous experience in a similar role with a background working within a small batch / prototype manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of Matsuura, DMG or Colchester machines preferable.
* A working knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
* Preferred industry would be Motorsport, Aerospace or research and development.
* Flexibility, a positive outlook and pro-active approach is essential.
* Ability to work reliably under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Well organised and a good communicator.
* May be required to work extended hours or weekends.
