Year 1 Class Teacher – Full Time PositionFulwood Primary School, Preston
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Fulwood, Preston. This full-time role begins in September 2026 and offers the chance to make a real impact at a key stage in children’s early education.
We are seeking a confident practitioner who is passionate about teaching young children and committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences, with a particular strength in systematic, engaging phonics teaching.
About the Role
* Full-time Year 1 class teacher responsibility from September 2026
* Delivery of high-quality, well-structured phonics sessions to support early reading development
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and progress
* Working collaboratively within the Key Stage 1 phase team
What We’re Looking For
* Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a fully inducted, experienced teacher
* Confident teaching and managing a KS1 classroom
* Strong understanding of early reading and phonics instruction
* Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
