Job Title: Ecommerce Manager

Hour of Work: 09:00 – 17:30 (Monday - Friday)
JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of the Ecommerce Manager is to accelerate the growth and development of www.arran.com. Focused on the improvement of onsite trading, improving user experience, assisting in customer acquisition activities and the optimisation of the Amazon storefront.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Co-ownership of the e-commerce growth strategy for ARRAN Sense of Scotland, working alongside the Ecommerce and Marketing Director to achieve growth ambitions across all digital platforms.
* Responsible for the growth strategy and optimisation of the Amazon Storefront for ARRAN Sense of Scotland.
* Responsible for trade onsite, monitoring and optimising key metrics including conversion rate, ATV and traffic.
* Merchandising site, optimising product pages and coordinating onsite content, in line with the content strategy.
* Responsible for the customer journey, user experience and CRO roadmap across key ecommerce touchpoints to drive conversion and repeat purchase.
* Utilisation of website performance and user behaviour insights to identify opportunities for optimisation and conversion improvement.
* Accurate and timely use of analytics (including GA4 and other relevant reporting tools) to illustrate channel progress & effectiveness of ecommerce strategy.
* Management of all digital marketing channels including PPC, Paid Social and Affiliate Marketing including budget allocation.
* Responsibility for the effective management of relevant third party agencies to ensure all targets are met within agreed budget phasing cycles.
* Leading all Digital PR & onsite SEO activity, alongside agency partner. Setting the ongoing strategy and signing off content for outreach and onsite optimisation.
* Monitor KPIs to gain a close understanding of customer acquisition and sales patterns.
* Manage and set up all promotions in line with an agreed promotions calendar, including analysis of promotion performance.
* Work with Brand Team to ensure site and e-commerce strategy remains aligned with Brand guidelines
* Monitoring web inventory levels and assist with the coordination of stock movements between our warehouse and Leeds fulfilment centre to ensure we are optimizing sales of key lines.
* Provide the Ecommerce & Marketing Director with business support, contributing to key projects related to online growth and act as proxy on Ecommerce Trading where required.
* Responsibility for Ecommerce budgets including Affiliate Marketing, PPC and Paid Social to ensure they align with allocation and P&L efficiency.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
· At least 3 years’ experience working within a senior e-commerce role
· Experience in a retail environment desired
· Commercially focused with a proven track record of achieving ecommerce growth.
· Good understanding of customer journey, SEO, CRO and UX
· Knowledge of digital marketing with an ability to analyse data and produce conclusions based on findings
· Strong copywriting skills
· Thorough understanding of web analytics software, web platforms and social management tools.
· Budget experience and experience with ROAS targets.
