Personal Assistant (PA) in WF10 - Leeds - LS15
Please note: this role is based in WF10.
Job Purpose
To provide personal, domestic, and social support to enable the employer, a wheelchair user, to live independently and comfortably in their own home and community. The role includes assistance with daily living tasks, household duties, and social activities.
About the Employer
The employer is a 29‑year‑old wheelchair user working full‑time for the NHS. They require support with physical tasks, driving, and community activities to maintain independence and enjoy hobbies.
Main Duties
Domestic Support
* General household cleaning, tidying and washing clothes
* Taking out bins and managing household waste
* Assisting with packing and organising medication
* Light gardening tasks such as mowing the lawn and watering plants
Personal Assistance
* Support with shopping and errands, including trips to supermarkets
* Occasional support with attending appointments or social outings
* Support with some driving
* Preparing food and drinks (e.g., making and carrying a hot drink)
* IT help when assistive technology isn’t compatible
* DIY support

Hours of Work
