An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and innovative individuals to work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) within acute medicine. The role is based in Admissions Unit One, SDEC, and the Flow and Navigation team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver patient care within Admissions Unit One from initial history taking to clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation.
* Provide safe clinical decision‑making and expert care for patients within your professional scope.
* Teach, supervise, assess and mentor staff; plan, prioritise and delegate work to other team members.
* Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
* Maintain up‑to‑date clinical knowledge and adhere to national standards and guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
* Currently an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with non‑medical prescribing and clinical decision‑making qualifications.
* Significant post‑registration professional practice experience in acute medicine.
* Completion of relevant postgraduate courses to master’s degree level (or working towards a master’s if applicable).
* Demonstrated ability to work safely and independently at a master’s level within your clinical area.
