The role
Lush has recently returned to Covent Garden following our grand opening in August 2024. As London's newest Lush store, this is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse and talented team in a new store and spa in an iconic London location.
Our vision is to bring magic into retail by transforming shopping into extraordinary experiences through immersive demos, shop floor services, and playful theatrics. We seek enthusiastic individuals who bring passion, energy, and creativity, and enjoy making customers happy.
Sales Assistants are the heartbeat of our business, delivering outstanding customer service. You'll showcase our products through demonstrations, host events, and provide personalized consultations including massages and skincare demos.
Key Information
Hours Available: Various contracts from 12-40 hours/week depending on availability.
Application Deadline: 23:59, Monday 28th April 2025.
Trial Shifts: 8th-10th May 2025.
Start Date: Week of 19th May 2025.
Note: No annual leave in December; must work two of four major days (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Store hours: 10am-8pm Mon-Sat (until 9pm in December), 12pm-6pm Sun. Some shifts start at 7am or end late.
Weekend availability required, working one day on weekends.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly, demonstrate products, and engage in activities.
* Understand customer needs, recommend products, and perform demos.
* Provide excellent service with product knowledge and samples.
* Host events and create memorable experiences.
* Maintain a tidy shop floor.
* Support sales targets through creative promotion and teamwork.
* Participate in training to improve skills.
* Foster an inclusive, respectful environment.
