Our Opportunity: Are you a Structural Engineer looking to expand your skills and experience within a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy?
Do you want to work on a diverse range of projects as part of a collaborative, dynamic, and supportive team?
Pick Everard's thriving Structural Engineering team in Nottingham is expanding and looking to recruit a Structural Engineer, who will have the opportunity to work on exciting new ventures and undertake site survey work.
There will be a wide, varied workload focusing on the design and management of projects including local government, commercial, custodial, residential, and central government. Discover our projects at: Pick Everard
You Can Expect To Be Involved In
A wide range of projects across sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, defence, and infrastructure.
Your core duties will include:
* Ensuring high-quality technical delivery of projects
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Assisting with surveys and supporting junior staff members
* Acting as a point of contact for client/contractor queries
* Minimising health and safety risks in all aspects of structural discipline and contributing to the wider project health and safety assessment
About You
* A minimum of BSc or BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering; MSc or MEng preferred
* Good verbal communication skills to discuss work and collaborate effectively within a team
* Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes, and construction methods
* Familiarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software (AutoCAD and Revit)
It Would Be Nice For You To Have
* The ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
* Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
* Experience visiting sites
* The motivation to undertake CPD and enhance skills and knowledge
