RM Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a forward-thinking organisation based in Erdington in their search for a confident Purchase Ledger Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fully office-based role, working Monday to Friday, and offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to become a valued member of a supportive and collaborative finance team. Key Responsibilities: * Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner * Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with company procedures * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies * Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs * Responding to supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships * Process credit card transactions * Assist with cash and banking * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records * Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required Person Specification: * Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role * Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy * Good organisational and time management skills * Confident communicator, both written and verbal * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems * A proactive and p...
