On behalf of NatWest, we are looking for a Project Analyst for a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh or Manchester, hybrid with 1 day per week on site.
Purpose of the role
We are looking for multiple Project Analysts to support delivery across retail banking and payments change initiatives, working across strategy, innovation, operating model design, and early-stage initiative mobilisation. These roles sit across delivery and front-end change functions and will support programmes from early concept and requirements definition through to structured delivery, governance, and implementation support. You will work closely with Project Managers and change stakeholders to turn business priorities into well-defined, well-governed, and delivery-ready outcomes.
What you'll do
Support projects and change initiatives across the full project lifecycle from early design through delivery.
Gather and document business and stakeholder requirements.
Contribute to initiative shaping, planning, and implementation design.
Support operating model and delivery model design activity.
Prepare governance packs, programme board materials, and delivery presentations.
Produce and maintain project documentation, reports, and delivery artefacts.
Support project controls including plans, milestones, actions, and RAID inputs.
Work closely with stakeholders to coordinate inputs and support change journey alignment.
Contribute to strategy and innovation workstreams with structured analysis and outputs.
The Skills you'll need
Experience as a Project Analyst or PMO Analyst within change or transformation programmes.
Exposure to either full project lifecycle delivery or early-stage initiative design work.
Strong documentation and governance pack production skills.
Requirements gathering and structured analysis capability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good stakeholder engagement skills.
Understanding of project governance and delivery controls.
Financial services or payments experience beneficial.
Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail.
