We are currently seeking a KS4 Teaching Assistant to join our Education Support Centre in Hemel Hempstead, starting April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with learners who face barriers to learning and may require additional support. The role has the potential to continue for the remainder of the academic year, offering stability and ongoing development.
As a KS4 Teaching Assistant in Hemel Hempstead, you will:
* Support learners with additional needs, helping them engage and succeed in KS4 education
* Work closely with teachers to implement trauma-informed practices
* Support hard-to-reach or disengaged students, providing tailored guidance and encouragement
* Assist in classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
1. Prior experience supporting KS4 learners (preferred)
2. Knowledge and experience of trauma-informed approaches
3. Ability to work effectively with students exhibiting challenging behaviours
4. Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply
