Data Administrator - Wells & Co. - Bedford, Bedfordshire Company Description Position Temporary Position - Within our IT department we’re using new technology to drive and grow our business and we have a short term temporary opportunity that is integral to the organisation. As IT Database Administrator you will ensure that our EPOS infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently by maintaining and updating the product and pricing database for our pubs. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of teams and users. If you have experience working in a fast-paced environment, love data and are full of beans and enthusiasm this might just be a perfect role for you. You must live locally, be able to start immediately and be able to commit for 3-months. Your responsibilities will include: Accurately administer Epos requests, which will consist of food and drink updates, promotions, discounts, new product set up and pricing & recipe updates. Maintaining and updating of the customer ordering App. Ensuring all data has been accurately provided before loading data into the system and proactively manage any discrepancies. Establish and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure we can support the delivery of key business initiatives within required timescales. Resolving issues raised to business in line with SLA, ensuring minimum impact to pub teams and guest. Documenting processes and procedures. Providing data information and reporting for management. Reporting problem areas to improve service and efficiency. Ensuring the accuracy of database work through testing & audits. Requirements What we are looking for: Experience of product & price maintenance within Retail, Hospitality or Leisure highly desirable Some technical experience of Epos and confident with MS Excel A customer centric mindset - always puts the customer first and responds quickly to their needs Takes pride in doing a great job with a supportive can-do approach to tasks Ability to resolve issues quickly and escalate where required Highly numerate and articulate Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels An approachable, enthusiastic, and confident style Other information What’s in it for you! £13 p/h paid 4 weekly Flexible working hours if needed Fun culture surrounded by great people
